Lindsay received her MS in Mental Health Counseling from Monmouth University in 2013 and has been working in the counseling field since. She enjoys working with a wide range of ages, including adolescents through the older population. Lindsay specializes in anxiety, adjustment and mood disorders as well as transitional life changes such as aging and family dynamics. She believes learning effective communication and coping skills can enhance a client's interpersonal relationships. Lindsay utilizes a Cognitive Behavioral approach to guide her clients through their therapy journey and uses tools like journaling and role playing to encourage thought reframing. She employs an empathic, client centered approach but is able to challenge her client to take positive and healthy steps. In her spare time, Lindsay enjoys spending time with her family, friends and animals, including cats, dogs and a horse.
